Our team

Saurabh Patil, MD, MPH is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). With over a decade of clinical experience and more than 20 years in the medical field, he practices medicine through a long-term, systems-based lens.

Dr. Patil integrates evidence-based care with functional and preventive strategies to deliver personalized, high-impact healthcare. Board eligible in Functional and Obesity Medicine, his clinical focus includes comprehensive primary care, men’s and women’s health, and chronic disease management—designed to promote prevention, optimization, and durable health over time. At HANDS MD, he partners with patients through clear communication and practical, sustainable care plans that support whole-person wellness.

Hemil Parikh, MD is a board-certified Family Physician with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive primary care. He is known for his compassionate approach and strong belief in personalized, preventive care for adults. Dr. Parikh’s goal is to partner with patients on their health journey through clear communication, shared decision-making, and long-term relationships. He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Huntsville, Alabama. Outside of medicine, Dr. Parikh enjoys golfing, walking, watching football, and spending time with family and friends.
